Which skills do we look for in warehouse handlers?

Sometimes, our roles do not require experience. If no specific experience is required, it will be listed clearly in the job description. For example, the job description may say: 
  • No previous experience needed 
  • Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy products 
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, must be deadline oriented with the ability to work under pressure either independently or as a team member 
  • Strong eye for detail 
  • Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings 
If specific experience or skills are required, it will be stated clearly in the job description when you apply. For example, hiring companies may ask for: 
  • Current and valid forklift driver license 
  • 1+ years inventory management experience
