Yves Schneuwly appointed as new MD of Coople Switzerland
Yves Schneuwly starts at Coople Switzerland as of May 1st, assuming the role of the Managing Director Switzerland for Europe’s largest online platform for on-demand staffing. His predecessor Anthony Vaslin took on the position as COO.
Yves Schneuwly comes to Coople from the networking platform XING. At the leading online business network of the German-speaking realm, he was responsible for the B2B and B2C business at the interface of sales, marketing, product and operations in Switzerland and Austria.
Previously, he served as Managing Director of Universum, the global specialist for employer branding services. There, he developed operational strategies for Switzerland and Eastern Europe. Yves played a key role in driving Universum’s digital transformation and enabled the company to establish itself as an HR technology provider and successfully implement a SaaS business model. After leaving the company, he remained on the board to ensure a smooth transition.
Speaking of his new role at Coople, Schneuwly is looking forward to the new challenge. “For me, Coople combines digitisation, the labour market and disruption and plays a key role in managing the changes in the world of work. I am thrilled to be part of the team and to contribute to such an inspiring vision and truly unique purpose,” he says.
The Basler has many years of experience in global, fast-growing environments in both the online and professional services industries. He also works as an advisor for Great Place to Work Switzerland and is a guest lecturer at HWZ Institute for Digital Business. Schneuwly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Basel as well as an Executive MBA from the Swiss University of Applied Sciences. The 35-year-old lives in Basel with his wife and two children.
