Stella joined the Coople community in 2017, working in the hospitality and office sector. Stella quickly gained a reputation as one of Coople’s dedicated workers, with hiring companies praising her for her attention to detail and hard working attitude. Why did you join Coople?
“I’ve never really had just one occupation. I’ve always done different roles – I’ve worked briefly as a chef, retail and admin, so I enjoy utilising my skills across a range of industries. I wanted to find something to do to fill work gaps and Coople’s flexibility was a great solution for me.”
What was your very first Coople job, and how did your career journey develop from there?
“It’s hard to believe it’s my five year Coopler anniversary already. I’ve worked in quite a few industries during this time – office, chef work, event management, you name it. Thanks to that, I’ve had the opportunity to build relationships with lots of different managers. After that, I became favourites of multiple companies and got to network and find regular work.”
What advice would you give to new, flexible workers?
“To those who want to work or try something new, I’d recommend being open minded. With Coople, there’s no need to go to interviews. It’s a matter of if you want the job and if you can do the job. That’s the great thing about working flexibly. It helps to build your confidence and build your income while you’re working towards other things. There’s also lots of opportunities that come unexpectedly. It’s a good way of trying something new in a different role or industry too, so I really recommend Coople for that.”
