We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global outsourcing contact centre with a reputation for hard work, outstanding results and for being a “great place to work”.

What do we need from you?

  • People skills and confidence in your PC skills!
  • A positive attitude with the ability to interact with lots of different people.
  • The ability to handle challenging calls with resilience and determination.
  • Basic computer skills such as navigating between systems and switching between different applications.
  • Customer service experience beneficial but not required.
  • Work 37.5 hours per week between 8am-6pm Mon-Fri and 8am-2pm Sat (working every other Saturday).
  • 3 weeks of paid training, 8.30am – 5pm Mon-Fri.
  • Based in or nearby Gateshead, NE8.

  • Take ownership for customer enquiries, using initiative to provide first-class service to resolve issues at the first point of contact.
  • Deliver quality customer service with patience and empathy and handle objections to promote relevant products and services.

What does an average day look like?

  • A typical day will see you working up to 8 hours per day with a lively and vibrant team in Gateshead.
  • You will start your day signing into your systems to make sure you are ready to take your first call of the day.
  • You will talk to a variety of customers with different needs. Some may want a quick update or to provide further information, others may be frustrated and want to challenge the process.
  • Some days will be quiet with rest periods between calls, and other days could be busy with everyone wanting your help at once.
