Job description

As a warehouse operative at UK, your primary purpose is to support in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. You will assist with anything from inventory management, order production, goods in and out and collaborate with other departments within the organisation. Duties and responsibilities: • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. • Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork and systems. • Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of goods meets customers timescales/requirements and SLA. • Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation. •Packing orders to the customer specification within SLA. •Ensuring any orders that have been picked or packed and labelled correctly and are loaded with the correct courier. • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy. • Always Treating stock with care and concern. • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors. • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine. •With heavy equipment in operation warehouses can be dangerous places, so following workplace health and safety rules will be essential. •completing any tasks set by the warehouse supervisor and or manager within the time frames set. Self-Management • Work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies. • Team player with a positive effect on the team. • Shows moral courage, openness and honesty and has a collaborative approach when dealing with others. KPIS - Ensure all warehouse activities are completed within SLA’S. - Ensure all WMS’S are used correctly and within training protocol.
