Job description
Assistant • Shopfloor-based, customer-facing; working alongside a supervisor and Assistant Manager of the department, amongst a team of ten • Replenishing ambient (pre-packed) food stock on the shop floor before, after and during opening hours, maintaining product availability for customers at all times • Re-profiling where necessary to ensure each product is shoppable for the customer and following a gold standard • Actioning moves and changes on the shop floor, as well changes based on stock issues and promotional product pushes, with instruction from management • Transporting stock from the onto the shop floor; minimal BOH work required, regular use of a safety knife, use of trolleys and totes, use of stock lift. Use of a radio to communicate with colleagues on the floor and within the • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition. • Occasional support with customer queries, before handing over to a colleague • Strong time management skills in order to work efficiently to comply with deadlines in a fast paced environment • Attention to detail • Work well independently as well as within a team and able to communicate openly with others High level customer service skills are essential for this role.
