YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO ALL SHIFTS FOR THE WINTER PEAK Monday 5th January 2026 is TBC. TARGETS Pick: • 86 units/hour • 600 units for a 7-hour shift • 686 units for an 8-hour shift Pack: • 40 units/hour • 280 units for a 7-hour shift • 320 units for an 8-hour shift CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Picking and packing orders following our quality standards (they might be standing in one spot for a while when packing). • Putting orders in the right dispatch areas (express, standard, international). • Reporting any damages or order issues straight away. • Restocking packing stations at the end of their shift. • Using handheld terminals to pick orders accurately. • Using stairs, ladders, and kick stools to get to higher pick spots (good fitness needed!). • Doing repetitive tasks and staying focused. • Meeting daily pick and pack targets. • Keeping their work area clean. • Helping out occasionally by using a safety knife to break down empty boxes to keep the tidy and safe. DISPATCHING • Using a handheld scanner, identify the items for each order from the pick crate • Dispatch each individual order into a tray • Using the monitor, generate a delivery label and invoice to be included in each order GIFT WRAP/GIFT DISPATCH • Identify the correct size gift box for each order • Prepare and arrange the gift items in a neat display using the pack materials provided • Using the monitor, generate a gift message, delivery label and invoice to be included in the order REPLENISHMENTS • If you are trained and authorised to operate a forklift truck, you may be required to carry out replenishments on an ad-hoc basis, moving stock from a different location, ensuring it is accessible and ready for picking • Ensure we have adequate stock available to fulfil the store and picks • When operating a forklift, ensure you are doing so, in line with the training provided and the Company Forklift Truck policy
