Job description

We are searching for a Part-Time Warehouse Assistant for our Head Office in London, with the opportunity to become a permanent position. The ideal candidate is able to commit 12 hours per week for the next 6 months, starting in May. May will be training/shadowing on Tuesdays/Fridays 10:30am - 4pm. Schedule TBC starting in June: Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11am-4pm Alternate days/hours can be discussed depending on availability Please note: we will call qualified candidates for a quick phone call to discuss your interest in the job and your schedule before hiring. Responsibilities The main role is to handle and package our printed wallcoverings that are printed in-house in our London studio. - Communicate with the Warehouse Team Leader about moving goods between the London studio and the Ledbury warehouse - Assist with the cutting and labelling of printed wallpaper samples - Receiving goods into warehouse space - Lifting and organising large heavy packages and recording details using the Company’s software - Identify damaged or missing items and notifying the Warehouse Team Leader Requirements & Skills We need a hard-working and proactive person who is comfortable working in fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will have: - Able to commit 12-15 hours/week - Excellent communication skills - Self-motivation and comfort working independently - Basic administration skills - Microsoft Word/Excel/Company Software - Comfortable spending long periods on their feet & moving large objects About Us are makers of hand-painted, embroidered, and printed wallcoverings, framed artworks and objects. Our London warehouse is attached to an office and studio space. It's a relaxed, office-style environment with a small warehouse area. The role will require some training.
