This is an exciting trial shift opportunity leading to a permanent position, where you can make a meaningful difference in lives of our residents. As a Cook at , your primary responsibilities will include: - Ensuring smooth operation of all catering provisions, preparing, cooking, and serving meals that adhere to established recipes and dietary needs. - Upholding high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. - Creating balanced and nutritious menus while accommodating preferences and special diets of our residents. - Regulating food temperatures and maintaining accurate records in compliance with environmental health standards. - Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate timely meal services and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area. - Supporting kitchen assistants with washing up and various tasks to foster a collaborative work environment. Job Details: - Full-time hours: 33.20 hours/week - Must work every 2nd weekend - Week 1: Monday to Friday, 07:00 am to 02:30 pm - Week 2: Monday to Wednesday / Saturday & Sunday, 07:00 am to 02:30 pm - Competitive pay discussed upon hiring, with premium rates on holidays.
