Job description

This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 2-3 months, with the potential for extension. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced operations environment and contribute to meaningful customer processes. We are looking for people who are immediately available and can commit to a 40hr working week over a shift pattern. What you'll be doing: • Working with our Operations Support team to complete manual admin tasks such as contacting customers whose payments have failed and processing refunds • Completing quality control checks • Liaising with third parties (e.g. underwriters, claims handlers, premium finance partner, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience • Keeping compliance at the forefront, making sure that everything we do and say is in accordance with FCA guidelines • Building up expert knowledge of our product, systems, and processes • Working with a fantastic, motivated and intelligent team • Proactively de-escalate customer complaints within the payments and cancellations space, aiming for quick wins and efficient resolutions What we're looking for from you: • Have previous experience in an operations or admin role, ideally in a regulated or service-based environment. • Sharp, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced customer-centric. • Are confident using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), including functions like filters, lookups, and basic formulae. • Can spot errors easily, and take initiative to correct them. • Enjoy juggling tasks, solving operational puzzles, and getting stuck into process detail. • Are calm under pressure and can make sound decisions quickly when priorities shift. • Have a clear, professional communication style, both written and verbal. • Have experience liaising with internal and external partners and holding others accountable for shared SLAs.
