**LATENESS will lead to cancellation of shift** **Dependent on event requirement you may finish your shift 15/30 minutes earlier or 15/30 minutes after your finishing time.* ** If working 6 hours or more you will have a 30 minute UNPAID break ** **You must have correct uniform, failure to arrive in correct uniform will lead to cancellation of shift** EVENT UNIFORM - - Long-sleeve black ironed shirt - Black full length formal trousers – NO LEGGINGS, NO 3/4 LENGTH, NO JEANS, NO CHINOS. - Black tie (NO PATTERN OR DIFFERENT COLOUR) - Black working formal leather shoes (no flats/trainers/dolly shoes) GROOMING STANDARDS Males - freshly shaven or nicely trimmed beard, hair neat and slicked back if long. No facial piercing Females - No nail varnish, fake/long nails, hair tied back neatly - no messy hair, no fake eyelashes, make up minimal/natural. No facial piercing KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide excellent food service to guests during events - Set up and clean event spaces - Ensure tables are properly set and arranged - Serve food and beverages to guests with a smile - Assist with carrying and serving multiple plates - Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout event - Polishing cutlery REQUIREMENTS - Previous experience in event service is preferred - Must have a positive and can-do attitude - Ability to carry and serve 3 plates comfortably - Excellent communication and customer service skills
