In August 2017 THE TRADERS and Coople first started their collaboration. The managing director of THE TRADERS knew about Coople from earlier in his career and he initially started the collaboration. THE TRADERS is a gastronomy business which provides the World Trade Center with culinary delights. They operate a coffee bar and a restaurant. THE TRADERS also has a specialized catering team which supplies the World Trade Center with catering for their events. Cooplers are hired for kitchen or hospitality work. The fact that Coople provides a wide range of staff with different skills is especially useful for the World Trade Center. In the future they might also use Coople to hire receptionists, cloakroom, or cleaning staff.

Smartbox is the leading European provider of experience gifts, and have claimed their place as the bestselling gift box in Switzerland. The industry pioneer is present in more than 10,000 retailers and is of course also available online. During the Christmas season, Smartbox’s business takes off. Almost 30% of their total revenue is generated during the few weeks leading up to the holidays. In this peak time Smartbox relies on Coople to meet extra staffing demands: during Christmas 2017, 295 Cooplers were hired to promote Smartbox, in 1268 missions, at 107 different locations. It was especially important to Smartbox that their promotors arrived on the job with the proper preparation, so Coople organized specialized training sessions according their wishes and requirements. Thanks to the collaboration with Coople we were able to reduce staff costs at the Vitznauerhof by 7-9% in the summer season of 2015. During peak times in summer, or for large events like weddings, we could specifically employ only the needed personnel and avoid employing permanent employees for a long period of time. This has enabled us to be extremely flexible and to employ personnel only when it is really needed.
